my first post!

i've decided to create this blog in order to share with you things i love! i want to make this a shopping blog where i can post things that i have my eye on, may it be home decor, clothes, accessories, whatever! 

in a few months i will be moving into a new apartment and i am so excited because this will be the first time i have gotten to have my own place. i feel as though i can really show my sense of style and love for decorating now; although it will definitely be on a budget. my grandmother was an antique collector and even owned her own antique store, so i have access to pretty much anything you can think of. i want to use all of these vintage pieces and mix with my up to date pieces to create a mix.

i am the most excited about the new Decorate  book by Holly Becker. I've been reading other blogs the get sneak peeks of the pages. the book is now available at certain anthropologie stores as an early release but will not be available on amazon or barnes and noble until may 18, 2011. check it out here! and let me know what you think :)
